Fishing

Out fishing with some friends off the coast of Hendala near Colombo. This wonderful pastime has now been curtailed by the Sri Lanka Navy for security reasons. There is very little opportunity to go fishing anymore. The Colombo breakwaters has also been out of bounds to anglers since past several years.

A big Paraw or Giant Trevally (Caranx ignobilis). These fish give a tough fight before coming in.
